Personal baseline, not a universal pose
The product calibrates to a comfortable position chosen by the user. Feedback describes change from that baseline; it does not assign a medical grade or claim that one posture fits every body.
About SitAligned
SitAligned is a browser-based general wellbeing product. It helps desk workers notice sustained changes in head and shoulder position, then decide whether to adjust, move, or change the workstation.
The product calibrates to a comfortable position chosen by the user. Feedback describes change from that baseline; it does not assign a medical grade or claim that one posture fits every body.
Pose detection runs locally in the browser. SitAligned does not upload, record, or store camera frames or body-landmark coordinates. Optional account features store only the summaries described in the Privacy Policy.
SitAligned is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent a condition. Product and educational pages state those limits where a reader could otherwise mistake awareness feedback for clinical advice.
Guides prioritize public-health, workplace-safety, and web-platform documentation. Each guide shows its update date and source list. Product facts are kept separate from general educational claims.
Editorial policy
The SitAligned Editorial Team selects topics that answer concrete questions people have while working at a desk. Pages are organized around one search intent, written in plain language, and reviewed for consistency with the product's actual behavior.
We avoid promises that posture monitoring can prevent pain or cure a condition. We do not invent clinical precision, label one pose as universally correct, or hide commercial relationships. When a guide discusses SitAligned, it says so directly.
Guides are reviewed when product behavior changes, when a cited authority materially changes its guidance, or when a factual correction is needed. Questions and correction requests can be sent to [email protected].
While a monitoring session is active, SitAligned estimates visible pose landmarks and compares selected relationships with the user's calibrated baseline. Camera position, visibility, lighting, clothing, assistive equipment, and individual movement can affect the estimate. The tool cannot know why a position changed or whether a person has a health condition.
SitAligned provides its service at sitaligned.com. Product, privacy, billing, cancellation, or editorial questions can be sent through the support page. The Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Acceptable Use Policy describe the governing service practices.
